Cinderford SoundSpace
Music Makers new building is in the grounds of Heywood School, Cinderford. (see “How To Find Us” on rh menu for directions). It offers four soundproofed rooms and a small control room for music rehearsal production and recording. Each room is equipped with drum kits, bass amps and vocal PA. Other equipment is available including computers, keyboards, DJ decks and African percussion. (see below for full list).
Rooms can be hired for any period between 1 hr and all day depending on availability. Rates depend on age. For under 25s these are based on a payment per person per hour. Payments must me made in advance.
There is an after school club for ages 11 to 16 on Thursdays from 3pm to 5pm.
Meetings, training and conferences
The space is also available for meetings, training and conferences. Tables, chairs and Audio Visual equipment can all be booked.
Recording
Recording is available at various levels. There are computers that can be hired to make a simple recording within your practice room. For high level recording, the whole building can be booked, and up to 16 tracks recorded at once with mic feeds from separate rooms and monitoring via up to 4 separate headphone mixes. We have recording engineers available.

Desktop Soundbeam - movement to midi converter with associated switches. This device is primarily to enable music making for those who would struggle to physically control a conventional instrument.
