THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS:

Kevin White: Head of Music & drama at Lakers School, Five Acres. Musical Director of A.W. (Drybrook) Brass band, MD of Drybrook Academy Wind Band, Director of Cinderford Community Choir. Background as Creative Director in the graphics and marketing industries. From a solid musical and forest heritage, Kev started as a learner with Lydney Town Band and as a chorister with churches in Lydney. He moved into teaching 4 years ago and subsequently moved back to the forest.

Paul James: Parent and Site Manager at Heywood School, Cinderford. Previously ran his own business.

Viv Prescott: Parent, leads Littledean primary school choir, leader of Forest of Dean Salvation Army. Lives in Ruspidge.

Pam Jones: Family Services Manager for Forest  Pulse, a charity supporting
families living in the Forest of Dean who have a child/children with disabilities. Lives in Drybrook. Board Contact for matters related to Child Protection.

Ros Armstrong: Manager in the Forest of Dean for Gloucestershire Library services. Lives near Newent.

Marie Cooper: Subject Leader for Humanities at Heywood School. She was a pupil at Lakers School, and now lives in Cheltenham. She was in a local band when she left school, and was involved in planning gigs. She is passionate about music and co-produces the Heywood musical/show every year. She was nominated by Heywood school for the board.

Roger Tucker: Parent from Tutshill, previously worked as an engineer for Hewlett Packard, now runs his own business. Plays piano.

Jo Harris: Young People’s representative on the Board. Studying A levels at Royal Forest of Dean College. Has been highly involved with planning, promoting and running Music Makers gigs.
